Print culture is absolutely booming here in Wales, and we're so proud to see Cardiff – especially our beloved Canton – becoming this amazing hub of print studios and creative spaces. We're setting up shop at Chapter Arts Centre, and we can't wait to bring our amazing community together to celebrate everything printmaking!

We're passionate about building on this incredible momentum we've got going. We're creating this fantastic space where artists, organizations, and educators can all come together, share their genius, and inspire each other. It's going to be such an amazing opportunity for everyone to collaborate, learn, and really dive into the world of printmaking in Wales.

We're so excited about our 'makers trail' – you'll get to meet incredible print artists, feast your eyes on stunning prints, and (our favourite part) get your hands dirty with some actual printing! Whether you're a seasoned pro or have never touched a printing press in your life, we promise you'll have an absolute blast trying everything from risograph to screen printing.
We're still buzzing from last year's festival – the energy was electric, and the support we received just blew us away! This year, we're taking it to a whole new level with more amazing creatives, more fantastic workshops, and so many ways to get involved, we can barely contain our excitement!
We've packed the schedule with activities for the whole family, stunning artist showcases, and hands-on experiences that'll make your creative heart sing. This isn't just a festival – it's a celebration of print, creativity, and our wonderful community.

“Printed Festival went far better than I could have ever dreamed! After years of planning with Tom and Jude, we succeeded in creating an inclusive, interactive print festival that educated and inspired people to participate in creative practices. As soon as it was over, we realised Printed was but the foundation of a larger project, and we were inspired, compelled (!) to think of new and innovative ways in which we could engage the Welsh public and get them excited about printmaking. So this year we are going bigger and bolder, with more of what went well last year and some new and interesting tricks up our sleeves for this year. You can’t miss it.”
